Job Description

Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a recognized global leader in the manufacture of precast refractory components and the engineering of molten aluminum handling systems for aluminum cast-house applications and we are looking for Production Technicians in Graham, NC!

Pay: $17/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
           
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare molds and cast refractory parts (finished parts weigh between 2-80 lbs.)
  • Remove cast parts from molds and perform cosmetic finishing
  • Apply wash coating and hand sand parts as needed
  • Inspect parts for cracks or voids and perform necessary touch-ups
  • Operate mobile equipment if required
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace following company health and safety policies
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required)

Skills & Experience:
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Understanding of weight measurements (lbs., oz.)
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages using a calculator)
  • Ability to lift 40-80 lbs.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Carpentry, Masonry and light fabrication experience are all a plus!

Additional Requirements:
  • English proficiency (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a basic skills test (math and tape measure reading)
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
