Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a large family-owned company focused on creating food service solutions in the US and around the world.  We are looking for a 2nd shift Quality Inspector!  This is a full time 2nd shift position in Mebane, NC.

Pay: 18.25/hr - $19.75/hr BOE
Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm Mon - Fri

About the Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visual, dimensional, in-process, and finished goods inspections. You will also contribute to quality reporting, documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections of molded components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.

  • Conduct visual and measurement tests; report discrepancies and required adjustments.

  • Use gauges, meters, calipers, and micrometers to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Document inspection results, rework/scrap data, and follow-up actions.

  • Perform audits and create quality reports as directed.

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain standards and resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate records and follow established safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector in plastic or textile manufacturing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).

  • Good math and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to inspect start-up, in-process, and finished goods against defined criteria.

Preferred:

  • Additional experience in plastic manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with basic sampling theory.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions (sitting, standing, bending, etc.).

  • Comfortable working around machinery, noise, chemicals, and dust.

  • Use of PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hearing protection is required.
