Job Title: Chemical Manufacturing Operator – Urgently Hiring!
Pay:Â Around $22/hour DOE
Hours:Â M-FÂ 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. May eventually be moved to swing shiftÂ

We are seeking a Chemical Manufacturing Operator for a temp-to-hire position with our client a chemical manufacturing company located in Corvallis, Oregon. As a Chemical Operator, you’ll be at the heart of their production and purification operations, working with hazardous materials and high-end chemical processing equipment. Success in this role means operating with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset while working collaboratively in a fast-paced, safety-focused team environment. As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and operating process equipment, valves, and pumps to ensure safe and accurate chemical production
- Handling hazardous materials safely while wearing proper PPE, including respirators and chemical suits
- Following detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records
- Charging raw materials, transferring products, and completing batch records with accuracy
- Performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving drums/pallets with hydraulic equipment
- Packaging finished products, cleaning equipment, and maintaining inventory
- Preparing and managing hazardous waste and waste manifests
- Supporting documentation of shipping dangerous goods and disposal processes
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth hand-offs and material readiness
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or GEDÂ
- 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturingÂ
- Experience with SOPs, batch records and hazardous waste handling,Â
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and ability to work proactively within a team
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, wear a respirator, and perform repetitive tasks
