Job Title: Certified Flagger    Urgently Hiring Multiple Candidates 
Pay:$20/hr + Mileage reimbursement over 60 miles
Hours: 6am until done. (times vary)

Certified Flagger needed for one of Roseburg's largest Fiber Internet providers. Job Description and Responsibilities for Certified Flagger
  • Directing all traffic, by utilizing signs and hand motions, setting up and tear down flagging equipment each day
  • Carrying materials
  • Lift/Spin fiber reels
  • Clean Up scrap/job site
  • Walking through brush to get to job sites
  • Some/minimal digging
  • Assist lineman
  • Cleanup
  • Must pay attention at all times
  • Follow all state flagging rules & regulations

Skills and Qualifications for Certified Flagger
  • Must be able to maneuver 50 lbs (lifting, bending, pushing or pulling) 
  • Must have Flagging Certification on person at all times
  • Must be able to stand/ walk up to 8 hours per day
  • Must be reliable
  • Bring lunch & water
  • Provide Valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance - As a Certified Flagger, you will have to drive the companies vehicles
  • Must be able to take and pass drug screen
Flagging Gear Required - not provided by employer 
- Level 3 High Visibility Top & Bottoms
- Hard Hat
- Stop & Slow Paddle
- Multi-channel radio with 30+ channels
- Night Wand
- Full Leather Work Boots
Job Details for Certified Flagger
  • No smoking on on the clients property
  • No smoking while working (pick up all cigarette butts & do not throw them in the bed of the trucks)
  • Driving on the job is REQUIRED
  • Temp
  • As needed 7am start until done - unless otherwise stated
  • $17.00/hr + $3.00/hr for mileage reimbursement 1st 60 miles ($20/hr total) - $.56/mi after 60 miles on the job traveling
