Job Description

Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a nationwide company that makes beautiful, machine-washable area rugs, runners, doormats, and bath mats.  We are looking for Production Associates in multiple departments, on multiple shifts in southwest Charlotte, NC!

We want people with a good attitude who are eager to learn a new skill!  We will train you if you are willing to learn!

Pay: $15/hr
Shifts: 7am-5:30pm Mon-Thu
            6:30pm-5am Mon-Thu
            7am-5:30pm Fri-Sun + 1 additional day
 
What You'll Do In the Warehouse:
  • Assist in cutting and sizing materials for production
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Affix labels, logos, and other branding to products
  • Pack and prepare completed items for shipment
  • Organize merchandise by size, shape, and type for easy storage
  • Prepare and load orders for delivery using the appropriate equipment
  • Record and manage any damaged or impaired merchandise
What You'll Do In Sewing:
  • Operate and industrial styled sewing machine
  • Perform serging and over-edging
  • Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts
  • Change needles, threads, and bobbins
  • Inspect and repair finished products as needed and make machine adjustments to compensate for errors or quality issues
  • Troubleshoot fundamental machinery problems and request service or repairs as needed
What You'll Do In Print:
  • Maintain and operate industrial size digital textile printers
  • Responsible for overall maintaining of printers, including starting and stopping of printers
  • Responsible for general printer cleaning and maintenance
  • Responsible for detecting defects during printing production
  • Responsible for learning the designs that are printed for defect detection

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience operating a forklift (warehouse only)
  • Previous machine operating experience is a plus
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while operating machines or equipment
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the USA
