Job Title: Press Brake Operator – Urgently Hiring!
Pay: $19–$25/hour DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator for a Temp-to-Hire position with our client, a reputable metal fabrication and manufacturing facility located in Corvallis, Oregon. The Press Brake Operator will play an essential role in fabricating quality metal components. The ideal candidate will bring prior press brake experience, a strong understanding of blueprints and measurements, and the ability to work with heavier gauge materials. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a press brake to bend and form metal parts

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine specifications

  • Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure accuracy

  • Selecting proper tooling and dyes based on the job requirements

  • Working with materials that are generally 0.25" thick or heavier

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • At least 1–2 years of press brake operation experience

  • Experience with sheet metal is acceptable, but preference is given to candidates with experience bending and using a brake on thicker metals

  • Ability to read tape measures and blueprints

  • Knowledge of bending radiuses, tooling, and dyes

  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy materials
