Pay: $22 - $25 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

As a Quality Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting quality assurance processes, ensuring products meet stringent standards, and helping the company uphold its reputation for excellence. You'll collaborate closely with the operations, maintenance, and inspection teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold the integrity of every shipment.
What You'll Do
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for:
Supporting shift inspectors by measuring, testing, and verifying product quality using metrology equipment.
Initiating and conducting training sessions for inspectors on quality processes and procedures.
Creating, updating, and maintaining work instructions, process books, and related documentation to reflect ECN changes.
Logging inspection data and maintaining lot traceability records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Assisting in managing the Non-Conformance / Hold Area efficiently and accurately.
Participating in layered quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
Communicating with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related matters to ensure clarity and resolution.
Supporting new product launches and customer requirements by assisting with FAIRs and PPAPs.
Preparing certificates of compliance and analysis records for shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participating in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Creating and maintaining WinSPC logs and other inspection reports to track quality performance.
Contributing to Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement projects aimed at boosting PPM and quality metrics.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
3-5 years of stable experience in manufacturing quality or a related discipline, preferably in machining or plastic injection molding.
Proficiency with Excel and MS Word for data analysis and documentation.
Experience with metrology tools such as CMM, calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and tooling drawings accurately.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of formal root cause analysis.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams, suppliers, and customers.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds and perform physical inspection duties as required.
Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in North Royalton, Ohio, and offers regular weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
