Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30–60 minute lunch)

As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for managing invoice processing, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. You'll collaborate closely with the accounting team to support general ledger activities, sales tax filings, and payroll support, making this more than just data entry — it’s a hands-on accounting support role with meaningful responsibilities.

What You’ll Do:
As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for:
  • Processing, reviewing, and accurately posting vendor invoices to ensure timely payments and proper record-keeping.
  • Preparing checks, reconciling vendor statements, and addressing discrepancies proactively.
  • Maintaining Accounts Payable records and assisting with general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Managing floorplan payments, monitoring payment schedules, and following up on outstanding invoices.
  • Reconciling petty cash and cash boxes with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Preparing sales tax filings and assisting with benefit and payroll-related payments as needed.
  • Performing data entry and administrative tasks using Excel, Word, and accounting software.
  • Filing documents, managing email correspondence, and maintaining organized documentation systems.
  • Providing professional phone support for vendors and internal teams when required.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1 to 3 years of office experience, preferably within accounting, clerical support, or customer service roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Confidence working with numbers, financial documents, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and familiarity with accounting systems.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A professional, business-casual appearance and positive attitude.
