Real Estate Attorney/Associate General Counsel

Ideal Candidate:

  • You have commercial real estate deal experience.

  • You want to continue being a lawyer, but you don’t want to bill time.

  • You do great work, but want work/life balance.

  • You want to be part of the team creating value, not an outside service provider.

  • You're looking for the potential financial upside that comes with a private equity firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the private equity investment team and its portfolio companies.

  • Conduct acquisitions of real estate and communication infrastructure (towers).

  • Manage outside counsel on real estate transactions.

  • Interact with portfolio companies on best practices.

REQUIRED Qualifications:

  • 5- 10 years of commercial real estate transactional experience. (Compensation is commensurate with experience.)

  • Outstanding academic credentials.

  • Impeccable reputation for integrity.

  • Willing to work in our Chagrin Falls, Ohio office (i.e., this is not a remote position, although there may be flexible arrangements discussed for the right candidate)

Additional Qualifications (pluses, but not required):

  • Communication infrastructure (towers) experience.

  • Private equity experience.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Foreign language proficiency.
