Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

As a Production Supervisor, you will manage daily activities for approximately 10–12 CNC machinists and forge press operators. You will be responsible for executing the production schedule, developing your workforce, and maintaining a culture of accountability. You’ll also collaborate with interdepartmental teams to resolve open issues, escalate constraints early, and ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
What You’ll Do:
As a CNC Shop Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Directing daily activities for CNC machinists and forge press operators, assigning work, and monitoring job progress to ensure seamless shop flow.
- Providing daily supervision, coaching, and direction. You will conduct daily shift meetings, manage employee attendance and performance, and support hiring, onboarding, and skills cross-training.
- Ensuring all employees strictly follow safety procedures, work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements. You will also participate in quality and safety incident investigations.
- Coordinating closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to quickly resolve production, material, or equipment bottlenecks.
- Holding the workforce accountable to performance and schedule commitments while accurately tracking labor reporting and production documentation.
- Promoting a culture of teamwork and identifying opportunities to optimize productivity and process flows.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- At least 5 years of manufacturing experienceÂ
- Solid CNC machining experience within a production environment.
- A working knowledge of machining processes, tooling, setups, and overall production flow.
- A proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and standard manufacturing documentation
- Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory or lead machinist experience.
- Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
