Location: Buena Park, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shift)
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $25.00/hr (based on experience & Knowledge)
Length: Temp-Hire

Overview:

We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support our operations in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, intermediate Excel skills and ability using client portals.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Order Processing:

  • Accurately input and update purchase orders (POs), sales orders, and inventory data into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions and transactions. Generate and distribute daily reports on order status and inventory levels.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

  • Problem Resolution:

  • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in orders, working proactively to resolve them in a timely manner.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in data entry preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with ERP systems is a MUST.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • **Must have intermediate Excel skills**

  • Strong typing and data entry skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in office administration or customer service are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales or order management within the manufacturing industry.

  • Familiarity with customer portals and online order systems.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing terminology and processes.
