Job Title: Building Attendant
Pay: $15.25/hour
Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring evening classes and weekend facility rentals run smoothly, all while enjoying an active and engaging work environment.

What You’ll Do:
As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing set-up sheets for evening classes and weekend rentals.
  • Setting up and breaking down rooms for classes and events, including tables, chairs, sewing machines, and AV equipment.
  • Assisting instructors with transporting materials to and from their vehicles.
  • Opening and securing the facility during your scheduled shifts.
  • Removing trash and recycling throughout the facility.
  • Performing light cleaning as needed to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Greeting participants as they enter the building and directing them to their appropriate classrooms.
  • Remaining visible and available to support instructors and participants throughout your shift.
  • Communicating any issues, concerns, or observations to the facility supervisor.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Strong people skills and a helpful, professional attitude.
  • Basic technical skills and comfort in setting up equipment.
  • The ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliability and the ability to work independently.
