Logistics Coordinator – 1st Shift, $20/hr – Shreve, Ohio
Urgently hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Shreve, Ohio.
This is an on-site, 1st shift position paying $20 per hour. If you have experience coordinating freight, dispatching trucks, and working with carriers, this role offers steady weekday hours and a hands-on role in daily plant operations.
Pay and Schedule

  • $20 per hour

  • Weekly Pay

  • 1st shift, Monday through Thursday

  • 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

  • Some mandatory overtime as business needs require

  • On-site position in Shreve, Ohio
What You’ll Do
You will manage daily freight and dispatch operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and on-time deliveries. Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating plant freight to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules

  • Dispatching trucks and communicating with private fleet and contract carriers

  • Preparing and maintaining orders, bills of lading, and freight documentation

  • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local DOT regulations

  • Advising customers on delivery scheduling and resolving shipment issues

  • Working closely with production teams and other plant locations

  • Responding to inquiries from customers, drivers, and internal personnel

  • Cross-training to support general office functions such as scale operations, accounts payable coverage, production entry, and inventory posting

  • Completing special projects and additional office duties as needed
What We’re Looking For Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least 2 years of experience in a freight, traffic, or logistics-related role

  • Previous truck dispatch experience
Preferred

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Basic math skills, including percentages and calculations

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and SAP

  • Leadership capability and accountability in daily operations
