Job Title: Stitcher Urgently Hiring

Pay: $17 per hour to start

Hours: M-F 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Stitcher for a full-time position with the possibility of being hired permanently. You will be joining an inclusive team environment for a client located in Winthrop, ME, that stitches large filtration belts.

The Stitcher operates sewing machines to join, reinforce, and perform related sewing operations in the manufacturing of non-garment products. A successful Stitcher will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

As a Stitcher, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating sewing machines to stitch materials together according to specifications.

  • Performing quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.

  • Moving heavy, bulky material as part of the stitching process.

  • Using hand dexterity to handle and assemble materials with care.

  • Collaborating with the team to optimize production efficiency and meet daily goals.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • The ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs, move heavy bulky materials, and have good hand dexterity.

  • A willingness to learn.
