Building Attendant - Urgently hiring in Albany!

Job Title: Building Attendant
Pay: $15.55-17.00/hour DOE
Hours: Evening and weekend hours, approximately 10–20 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP

In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring evening classes and weekend facility rentals run smoothly, all while enjoying an active and engaging work environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Building Attendant, you will be responsible for:
• Reviewing set-up sheets for evening classes and weekend rentals
• Setting up and breaking down rooms for classes and events, including tables, chairs, sewing machines, and AV equipment
• Assisting instructors with transporting materials to and from their vehicles
• Opening and securing the facility during your scheduled shifts
• Removing trash and recycling throughout the facility
• Performing light cleaning as needed to maintain a welcoming environment
• Greeting participants as they enter the building and directing them to their appropriate classrooms
• Remaining visible and available to support instructors and participants throughout your shift
• Communicating any issues, concerns, or observations to the facility supervisor

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• At least 6 months of customer service experience
• Strong people skills and a helpful, professional attitude
• Basic technical skills and comfort in setting up equipment
• The ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
