Job Description
 Greenwich based Asset Management firm is seeking a MIS Analyst to join their growing team. The Management Information Systems (MIS) Analyst role will drive the implementation and ongoing improvement of management information systems with a focus on CRM, Accounting Systems, and Reporting (ETL/Data warehouse). The successful candidate will have an ownership mentality, driving change by understanding needs and analyzing solutions. This role will also be the lead relationship manager with the firms technology vendors including the application vendors, cybersecurity consultant, market data providers, and outsourced IT managed services provider (MSP).
Responsibilities
Driving Management Information System Implementation
Mapping business processes and translating business needs into functional requirements
Researching, evaluating, and recommending vendor system solutions to meet the firm’s needs within time and cost constraints
Developing project plans and managing deliverables against plan
Managing functional / user testing
Creating system documentation
Evaluating and improving information processes, as needed
Supporting the development of management reporting, as needed
Vendor Management
Drive technology vendors to implement Marblegate’s requirements, pressing for urgency and results.
Manage third-party cybersecurity consultant to ensure a high degree of cybersecurity at all times
Coordinate with outsourced IT managed services provider to provide support for employees’ desktop and network technology needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as engineering, math, physics, accounting, finance or information technology
5+ years of experience analyzing and implementing systems, improving business processes, and developing analysis &reporting
Financial services experience and knowledge of related systems (CRM, research/document management, accounting, and/or workflow platforms desired)
Experience with data analysis and business automation tools
Analytical skills and ability to see the big picture
Project management skills
Understand software development principles
Strong oral and written communication skills with track record of working in and with teams
Excellent initiative, priority management and organization skills
