As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and making repairs on both facility and production equipment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and enhance systems performance.

What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment, including lubrication and replacement of belts and filters on fans, pumps, motors, and related systems.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, including copper, black iron, and PVC.
  • Identifying equipment issues, determining root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Supporting new equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Conducting routine inspections to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Installing metal and non-metal piping using threaded, soldered, brazed, or cemented joints.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Maintaining a safe, organized work area, and adhering to all safety policies.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • For Maintenance Technician 2: Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • For Maintenance Technician 1: Entry-level to intermediate maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of gears, bearings, alignment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Capability to work from ladders and elevated areas.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during the work shift.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent training.
  • Experience with facility equipment such as cooling towers, chillers, air handlers, and electrical systems.
  • HVAC maintenance experience.
  • Basic electrical skills, including motor controls and electrical distribution.

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Charlotte, NC, and offers the following shifts:
  • Maintenance Technician 2: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Maintenance Technician 1: C1 Shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday
