Press Operator – Now Hiring (2nd & 3rd Shift) — Urgently hiring Press Operator positions in Wooster, Ohio!

Job Title: Press Operator
Pay: $19.28 per hour
Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM; Friday (Overtime): 8-hour shift
3rd Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:15 PM – 5:45 AM; Thursday (Overtime): 8-hour shift
Start Date: ASAP

You'll work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient press machine operation, uphold quality standards, and maintain accurate production documentation. What You'll Do
  • Operate and monitor press machines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting to ensure proper functioning and output.
  • Perform general labor tasks to support production, including inspections and quality checks.
  • Maintain quality standards by documenting production data accurately and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Use hand and power tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, or spot welding equipment, as needed to support operations.
  • Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety guidelines and communicate maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

What You'll Bring
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing or factory experience, preferably with press machines.
  • Willingness to grow within a long-term career and contribute to team success.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or welding processes is a plus.
  • Forklift or tow motor experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality.
