Job Title: Machine Operator
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Hours: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, ensuring the line operates smoothly and meets high-performance and quality standards. You will collaborate closely with team members and contribute your ideas to enhance operations every day.

What You’ll Do:
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating with the material handler and heavy equipment operator to determine the appropriate materials for each machine.
  • Ensuring shakers are filled to maintain a steady flow of material to production lines.
  • Verifying the correct roll stock is being used and efficiently placing it on the machine for operations.
  • Making necessary adjustments to machines to guarantee quality and quantity standards.
  • Conducting quality checks, including weighing and volume measurements, to ensure product integrity.
  • Communicating with the material handler regarding moisture levels or the need for material changes.
  • Performing housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean and organized while adhering to safety practices.
  • Completing production documentation accurately, promptly, and thoroughly.
  • Reporting any operational issues to maintenance staff for immediate resolution.
  • Following all safety protocols to protect yourself and your teammates.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read English or follow detailed instructions.
  • Comfort working in various environmental conditions, including dusty areas and diverse weather.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to climb ladders and remain on your feet for most of the workday.
  • A readiness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays.
