Job Title: Slitter Operator
Pay: $21 - $26 per hour
Hours: 1st and 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday)

As a Slitter Operator, you will support daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and help maximize productivity. Collaborating closely with machine operators and team members, you'll help keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Loading coils onto the uncoiler with precision to ensure smooth operation.
  • Unloading scrap and finished products efficiently to maintain workflow.
  • Transferring cut coils from the uncoiler to the turnstile, ensuring accuracy.
  • Reading and interpreting job tickets to follow specifications accurately.
  • Banding coils on the turnstile and securing them securely on pallets.
  • Cutting bands when necessary and performing core cuts and spot welds to ensure quality.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operator certification is preferred.
  • Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of two-digit numbers, with an understanding of measurement units such as weight, volume, and distance.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
