Mill Laborer Day Shift — Urgently hiring in Roseburg!

Job Title: Mill Laborer
Pay: $18/hr – Roll over to $19/hr when hired permanently!
Hours: Monday – Thursday (with every other Friday), 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Mill Laborer, you'll support daily operations by handling materials, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. You'll work directly in a dynamic sawmill environment, helping to keep production efficient and quality high.

What You'll Do
As a Mill Laborer, you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring conveyor lines to prevent boards from crossing over each other and babysitting the line to ensure smooth operation.
  • Uncrossing and repositioning boards to maintain continuous production safely.
  • Moving sticks from baskets to designated locations to facilitate ongoing operations.
  • Identifying broken or damaged wood during edger picking and separating usable materials from unusable.
  • Supporting overall mill operations as needed to uphold productivity and safety standards.
