Job Title: Machine Operator
Pay: 1st Shift – $17.75/hr | 2nd Shift – $18.75/hr
Hours:

  • 1st Shift: 6:30am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday (first day report at 8am)

  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday

Start Date: 11/3

As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow. You’ll work closely with your team and supervisors to maintain safe operations and achieve daily goals.
What You’ll Do: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
  • Interpreting written specifications and blueprints
  • Performing repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Completing standard work per quality work plans
  • Generating improvement ideas on a weekly basis
  • Participating in team-based improvement activities and standard work revisions
  • Inspecting parts using pin and thread gages, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Positioning, adjusting, and securing stock or workpieces against stops, chucks, vises, or fixtures
  • Adding coolant and lubrication materials to maintain proper levels
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and organizing assigned work areas
  • Following all safety and quality protocols
     
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred (Precision Machining, Blueprint Reading, Gauges, Calipers, etc.)
  • Strong English communication skills (for safety purposes), arithmetic and shop math ability, ability to read and interpret MOSs and blueprints
  • Excellent attendance, teamwork, and safety record; self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
