Job Title: Administrative Coordinator Pay: $20 per hour Hours: Full-Time - Monday-Friday 730am/8am until finished - usually 8 hour days Start Date: ASAP   Looking for a hands-on role in a growing company? Join a dynamic manufacturing company as an Administrative Coordinator in Augusta, ME, and make an impact every day.   As an Administrative Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations for both the logistics and finance departments. You’ll work closely with the Logistics Supervisor and Finance department to deliver results that make a difference.   What You’ll Do: As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting the Logistics Supervisor with inbound logistics management.
  • Generating a period-end revenue report to aid financial tracking.
  • Identifying backhaul pickups that fail to meet minimum revenue requirements.
  • Scheduling moves for loads that are designated for contract carriage.
  • Monitoring accepted loads to ensure timely delivery.
  • Auditing carriers' freight bills to confirm agreement with confirmations.
  • Compiling financial information to prepare entries to accounts and record month-end accruals.
  • Assisting with account analysis and reconciliations for the finance department.
  • Coordinating with the finance department to file vendor chargebacks.
  • Preparing entries to accounts and posting month-end journal entries.
  • Assisting with the preparations of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
  • Maintaining the record retention of all accounting and logistics documents.
  • Performing other related duties and tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required. Accounting or administrative experience is preferred.
  • A background in a related administrative or accounting field is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
