Job Title: Retail Associate Pay: $18.00 per hour Hours: Within the shop hours of Friday-Monday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Hours and days working can vary based on need. Training will be conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Start Date: ASAP Looking for a hands-on role in a fun, local shop? As a Retail Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations by being the friendly, welcoming face of a dessert shop. You’ll work closely with other team members to deliver great service and memorable experiences for every customer.   What You’ll Do: As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Operating the cash register and accurately handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Assisting customers with product selection and answering questions about store products.
  • Restocking shelves and maintaining clean, organized product displays.
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean throughout the day.
What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but looking for a “people person” with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
