Job Description

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision sewing, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives. This is a full time 1st Shift position in Elyria, Ohio.

Location - Elyria, Ohio 

Shift - 1st Shift // Monday - Friday - 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Possible Overtime

Pay: $17/hr to Start

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to produce custom wheelchair covers and other fabric components.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and specifications to ensure accuracy.

  • Assemble, stitch, hem, and finish covers to meet quality and fit standards.

  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure all items meet company and client specifications.
     

 
Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating sewing machines

  • Basic mechanical knowledge for threading and maintaining sewing equipment.

  • Good manual dexterity and ability to handle large or heavy fabrics.

(Experience in upholstery, canvas work, automotive interiors, or similar fields is a plus!)
