Job Title: Showroom Sales & Customer Experience Representative
Pay: $20–22/hour DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed

We are seeking a Showroom Sales & Customer Experience Representative to join a respected stone, tile, and countertop company in Topsham, Maine. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment and enjoys working with homeowners, contractors, architects, and interior designers on high-end residential projects.

This is more than a traditional customer service role. You'll serve as a trusted guide throughout the design and selection process, helping customers choose products that become a permanent part of their homes and projects.

What You'll Do

As a Showroom Sales & Customer Experience Representative, you will:

• Welcome customers, designers, architects, and contractors into the showroom
• Guide customers through product selections including stone, tile, and related materials
• Build strong relationships through exceptional customer service and communication
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and showroom inquiries professionally and promptly
• Review project details, cabinet drawings, architectural plans, and specifications
• Create estimates and assist with project planning using industry-specific software
• Coordinate product sourcing and project details with internal teams
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process to ensure a positive experience
• Educate customers on products, materials, installation considerations, and project timelines
• Maintain a polished, professional showroom environment

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous customer-facing sales, showroom, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Experience in construction, design, flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, building materials, or home improvement strongly preferred
• Confidence interacting with homeowners, contractors, architects, and designers
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical product information and project specifications
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn industry-specific software and quoting systems
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the showroom and warehouse
• Ability to carry and move tile, stone, and material samples
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Comfortable working in both showroom and warehouse environments
