Pay: $31.25 – $37.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time, weekday hours (on-site)

As a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting in various financial reporting and analysis tasks. Your contributions will help ensure compliance and operational excellence across all accounting functions, making a significant impact every day.

What You’ll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:
  • Recording and posting daily financial transactions using QuickBooks to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Managing the general ledger, including journal entries, reclassifications, and account reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, including bill entry, payment scheduling, and invoice processing.
  • Supporting month-end closing procedures, preparing financial statements, and assisting with balance sheet and income statement analysis.
  • Tracking and recording capital expenditures and assisting with inventory reconciliation and reporting for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Partnering with purchasing and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and cost tracking aligning with financial records.
  • Assisting with tax filings, payments, and R&D tax credit documentation, as well as quarterly tax submissions and external audits.
  • Maintaining and improving the chart of accounts, monitoring transactions for compliance, and identifying process improvements.
  • Supporting payroll activities as needed, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to verify financial data.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to mail, recordkeeping, and internal document management.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or inventory-based environments.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high integrity.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
