Warehouse/Store Associate - Urgently Hiring Pay: $19/hour Hours: Store is open Monday-Saturday 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.–3 or 4 p.m. Weekend availability is a must, and various shifts are available within open hours. Start Date: ASAP   We are seeking a Warehouse/Store Associate for a temp-to-hire position for our client, a retail agricultural supply store, located in Augusta, ME. The Warehouse/Store Associate will perform warehouse duties, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service. The Warehouse/Store Associate who succeeds in this position will be able to handle a very physical workload while maintaining an organized and well-stocked store for customers. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent in Augusta, ME.   As a Warehouse/Store Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Loading and unloading supplies, feed, shavings, hay, and other agricultural items.
  • Stocking the warehouse and store front to ensure products are readily available.
  • Picking and preparing customer orders for pickup.
  • Loading customer orders into vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Providing friendly and helpful customer service to all patrons.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Familiarity with typical warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, stand, and walk for extended periods, is required.
  • A strong customer service focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • We will ask about any animal or hay/straw/grass allergies during the screening process.
