Exciting Welder and Fabricator Role - Urgently hiring in Salem!

Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Pay: $23-25.00/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

You will work closely with our skilled fabrication team to bring detailed blueprints and schematics to life, ensuring precision and safety at every step.

What You'll Do
As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for
  • Reading, interpreting, and executing blueprints and welding symbols to meet project specifications
  • Performing MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding to assemble or modify metal components
  • Cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping metal using saws, torches, and plasma cutters
  • Aligning and fitting parts to strict measurements, ensuring close adherence to design tolerances
  • Applying appropriate welding techniques according to different metals and project needs
  • Conducting structural and detailed welding on frames, piping, brackets, and other metal assemblies

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
  • Minimum 2-3 years of welding and fabrication experience
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding techniques
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy, heat treatment, and welding safety protocols
  • Experience operating shop tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and press brakes
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Salem and offers Monday through Friday shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with potential overtime depending on project needs.
